A seven year old girl from Somerset Township was struck by a 1955 sedan at the Patriot Street edgewood Avenue intersection in Somerset borough. She suffered abrasions and possible fractures and was taken to Somerset Community Hospital. The driver, Denver Johnston of Star Route 22 Williams Field Ohio, faces reckless driving charges with a 4 p.m. hearing before Justice P. G. Matena.
