Area Hunter Killed In Shade Township
A Somerset area man, Leo F. Miller, 67, of RD 5, was killed Monday afternoon while deer hunting on State Game Lands near Central City Shade Township. He was shot in the chest. the rifle was unfired. Coroner Halverson declared death at 4:30 p.m. after discovery by hunters around 12:30 p.m. Firemen used a snowmobile to locate the body. about 50 hunters were nearby as state police investigate.
