A 15 year old Confluence area girl Joann Zack has not returned home since Saturday. State police intensified a missing person search and continue investigating her disappearance. She was seen at 12 30 a m Monday in a Route 40 restaurant and may be heading toward her father in Charleroi. She is about five feet four inches tall with brown hair and eyes and was wearing a white blouse blue jeans and a red corduroy jacket.

Two Accidents On Turnpike Reported Wednesday
Two early morning crashes on the Pennsylvania Turnpike caused considerable property damage and injuries when drivers reportedly fell asleep. Robert Simpson, 22, of Everett, was admitted to Somerset Community Hospital in fair condition after his tractor trailer struck a parked rig seven miles east of the Somerset Interchange. Fred Stambaugh, 36, of Alum Bank, sustained no injuries. damage to the other truck was about $500. The second crash occurred at 6:40 a.m. east of Somerset when Daniel Ross Jr., 20, of Youngstown Ohio, riding with three sailors from Norfolk Virginia, fell asleep and overturned after knocking down 14 guard rail posts. All but Raymond Troy, 20, of Pittsburgh, were slightly injured. Total property damage was $750.

Boden Case to be Charged by Judge Lansberry This Thursday
Judge Thomas F. Lansberry will charge a criminal court jury in the Boden case. Harry Boden of Blackfield is charged with two morals offenses involving his 15 year old stepdaughter, with alleged incidents on June 14 and July 17. He denies all improper relations and claims the girl often sneaks out to stay with another daughter in Wilson Creek. The trial proceeds after both sides argued before adjournment at 4 30 pm. Walker Case Today Thomas M. Walker of Shanksville faces trial on two counts of involuntary manslaughter from an April 23 Route 219 crash near Somerset that killed Fred Weyand and Richard Fenna. Weyand died at the scene. Fenna died later at Somerset Community Hospital. A third occupant, Earl Watkins, was hospitalized.
