Thirteen year old Elsie Lebiski stepping from a car in front of Shade township high school was struck by a southbound car driven by O S Miller of Hooversville and died instantly. Coroner F E Sass ordered an inquest for Wednesday at Cairnbrook. Injuries included a fractured skull and chest and a crushed head. Details of family not learned.

Two men died in separate fires today near the Potterdale area and Blossburg, Tioga county, with losses totaling more than 500000. Martin Burke, 60, perished in a foundry tool room blaze at Blossburg while helping move equipment. his body was found after firefighters ended the flames. Frank Burfield, 70, died in a Potterdale frame house fire, as his son John, wife, and three grandchildren escaped after a window jump following the blaze.

Xmas Money From Farmers Bank Depositors to Get Fifth Dividend
