Two Defendants Found Guilty in Criminal Court
In the Monday Criminal Court session two defendants were convicted. Paul Huston of Somerset faced a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and William Louis Shreffler of Bakersville was convicted on a charge of fortification and bastardy. Huston was arrested May 5 on North Center avenue. A Somerset physician testified to intoxication but Huston received no sentence. Shreffler received the usual sentence on the morality charge.
