Belated Express Hits Car In Meyersdale Tragedy
Three men riding in a sedan were killed when the Ambassador Limited struck their car at Meyersdale Main street crossing at 9 43 PM. The victims were Andrew L Mack 24 of MacDonaldton Gerald Mahan 25 of Berlin and Milton E Weimer 27 of Berlin Central hotel employee. Witnesses and investigators noted the car was on the crossing when hit by the westbound train and the locomotive halted about 1200 feet away. Mack unmarried son of Joseph and Mary Mack. Mahan from Okla with a Berlin residence. Weimer son of Milton Weimer of Berlin. Funeral arrangements to Berlin and Meyersdale mortuaries.
