Twelve people including President E D Norris and General Manager O B Keister were injured when seven cars of the Southern Railway Ponce de Leon derailed about 14 miles south of Atlanta. The train en route from Chicago to Florida left Atlanta at 10 15 a m CST, wreck occurring about three minutes later at a trestle near Billenwood Georgia.
