Two driver training cars from Somerset area high school were found in a ditch on Chickentown Road. Four area youths, three juveniles and 19 year old Charles Roy Griffith of Somerset, were arrested on burglary and larceny charges. Damages to both cars estimated at 700 to 800 dollars.

Teenagers Injured In 2 Car Crash In Somerset
Four Somerset area teenagers were injured in a two car collision on Route 219 near Dennis Mill Road at 3 55 PM. Cindy Stutzman 15 and Jerry Morin 17 were in serious condition. Robert Altfather 17 and Robin Holliday 15 were in fair condition. The other driver was Estella Glessner 56 of Berlin. The second car’s driver was uninjured.
