Berkey’s Car Recovered In Irwin After The Theft
A sedan stolen on November 19 was found Thursday in Irwin by state police from Greensburg. The car belonged to Gilbert Berkey of Lavansville Somerset R D. Two youths, Leon Coddington 14 and David Lloyd Stauffer 15 of Latrobe, were arrested and later released to their parents. They had also stolen a sedan from a Greensburg dealer earlier. Investigating officers were Pvt. Kenneth Glenn and Pvt. T. H. Sterner of the Somerset barracks.
