Conemaugh Yale Parade Plans Set
Final plans for the first annual Christmas Parade in Conemaugh Township were approved this week. Parade marshal Paul Georg urged units to gather at St David’s Lutheran Church lot by 9 30 a m for a 10 a m start along Route 53 to Hoisopple and Benson Borough. Santa will arrive at the Greater Conemaugh Township Municipal Airport at 9 a m and be escorted to the parade. Dignitaries include Sheriff Norman Walker County Commissioner Elect Paul O Connor Attorney Robert M Keim Joseph Johns Sr George W Shuman Jr and Fred Malder. Homecoming Queen Phyllis Marshall and Band Queen Kathy Brown will ride. Jerome American Legion Post 802 and Davidsville American Legion will furnish the color guard. Page 2.
