Multimedia Mozart to headline Kansas City Philharmonic season
The Kansas City Philharmonic will open its 43rd season with three Mozart programs in the Multimedia Forum at Crown Center. A three screen slide presentation on Mozart precedes the concerts and intermission film shorts explore the prodigy, the composer, and the man. Closed circuit TV will show close ups of soloists during performances with no camera movement during the music.

Confluence Couple Celebrates 25 Years at Home Party
Max and Irene Hostetler were surprised with an anniversary party at their Confluence RD 2 home on Saturday evening November 29. Hosts their five children and daughters in law aided by 38 guests and gifts. Music by Harry Hostetler filled the event with cake and dried fall flowers as centerpiece. The couple wed twenty five years ago in Oakland Maryland. They have five children Kenneth John Willard David Terry and two grandchildren Marci Lynn and Robert. Max is son of Andrew and Helen Hostetler of Confluence RD 3. Irene is daughter of the late Thomas and Melissa Show Burnworth of Confluence RD 2.

Mitchells Celebrate 25 Years of Marriage in Berlin
Mr and Mrs Nevin Mitchell of Berlin Route 1 marked 25 years of marriage on November 19. The couple wed in Berlin Brethren Church, are parents to three: Mary Ann a nurse at Mercy Hospital Johnstown married to Richard Holsapple Joe at IBM New York married to Gloria Maust and Jamie a Berlin High School student. They have two granddaughters. The Mitchells own Crossroad Dairy Farm on Route 31 where they grow potatoes and have lived at their current address for 20 years.
