Three Die as PRR Cresson Branch Collision Kills Three
Ebensburg December 4 Three men died and four were hurt in a head on collision of two freight trains on the Cresson branch of the Pennsylvania railroad. The crash occurred about nine miles north of Cresson between Ebensburg and Bradley Junction on a single track. Injured were Wilfred Baree 37, Charles Fleming 32, Penman W. Shelow 38, and W. J. Ansman. all taken to Altoona hospitals. Killed were R. F. Knepp engineer Anthony Villella fireman and C. S. Dillinger, all of Altoona.
