Union retrieved it before 7 a.m. It resembled a large kite with a six point star at the end and a three to four foot diameter. A 14 foot blue spruce from the county lawn will stand in the Union street lobby as this year’s court house Christmas tree. Richard Henry 31 of Jennerstown died in Memorial hospital from injuries after being crushed by rock in the Jerome mine of Hillman Coal and Coke Co. He worked as a loader on a three man conveyor crew. He is survived by wife Ellen and four children, parents Clyde and Mae Henry, and siblings. Funeral set for Saturday at Jennerstown with burial in Reformed church cemetery. He belonged to UMWA Local 1118 and was Jennerstown volunteer fire department secretary.
