Harrisburg December 2 The public utility commission today authorized New Kensington City Lines Inc to raise its school fares from eight to 10 cents effective next Monday.
The November term of Criminal Court opens Friday December 6 at 9 30 a m in the Somerset county courthouse. Cases include Commonwealth versus Kenneth E Shroyer and multiple alcohol and burglary charges. Harold Mosteller faces involuntary manslaughter counts tied to a fatal crash involving his brother Bruce Mosteller and Harry Pritts. Inquest testimony varied on who drove the fatal car.
House Speaker Sam Rayburn said the United States has been humiliated by Soviet missile progress and urged budget increases if necessary to stay ahead. Hurricane force winds battered San Salvador starting yesterday, causing considerable property damage but no reported fatalities. A heavy earthquake tremor felt around noon brought no additional casualties or damage reports.

Pittsburgh December report says L M Robinson a 70 year old inventor faced court on charges of selling stock without state securities registration. Bond set at 5000 dollars. He allegedly misrepresented Robinson Development Corp assets listing 224,467 while balance sheet showed 10,343. Six stockholders testified sales not solicited.
Prince Charles earned 104 from prizes at the Smithfield stock show in London where two Devon steers from the Royal Cornwall estate won best in class and a third was commended. A spokesman noted cash prizes are usually posted but it was unclear if the awards would be sent to Cheam school or the estate. Albert Mert of Birmingham Michigan, 41, struck a 150 pound doe on the Pennsylvania turnpike between Somerset and Donegal, causing about 300 in damage to his auto after returning from a 650 pound moose hunt in Canada. Police also reported a separate turnpike crash between Donegal and New Stanton inflicting 400 damage involving Thomas Cornell 26 John Gaskey 60 and Leonard Cass 37. A third incident between Donegal and New Stanton saw engine trouble overturning a car driven by Victor Wallace 24 with 500 damage but no injuries.
A Pittsburgh boy, Paul Misencik, 14, was shot to death near Armagh during a police chase involving a stolen auto. His companion, Anthony Machi, 13, of East Pittsburgh, reportedly not hurt, was with him. The shooting occurred on Route 2 about two miles east of Armagh in Indiana county. Authorities withheld details as an investigation began.

Richard Paul Ramp 18 of Frie dens jailed Saturday by state police for alleged gasoline theft was released Monday from Somerset county jail on a 500 dollar bond posted at Justice of the Peace H S Whipperman. Merrill F Hurst 57 of Akron Ohio released Monday after being committed Sunday on a motor code violation at Somerset county jail.
