Seven Hurt In Somerset Area Mishaps
At least seven persons were injured in Somerset area accidents over the weekend. Six were hurt in traffic mishaps, including four county youths Saturday when a car went out of control on Ridge Road and crashed into a bank injuring driver George Marple 17 and three passengers. The injured were treated at Somerset Community Hospital or dispensaries, with the front end of a 1950 Mercury heavily damaged.

A 68 year old man, George Evanchik of Central City, said a fall caused his injuries rather than a hit and run. He recovered and was listed in good condition at Windber hospital Sunday night after being found along a road near Central City.
