Two Men Released From County Jail
Paul Cramer aged 36 was released from the county jail on Thursday after being jailed November 13 by Justice H. Whipperman in Friedens. Cramer who lives in R D 1, Friedens faced charges of being drunk and dis orderly. Frank Zuck aged 58 of R D 1, Somerset was released Thursday after a jail term begun Wednesday and charged with assault and battery and unlawful entry.

Accidents On Turnpike Thursday Reported
State police logged three turnpike crashes Thursday near Laurel Hill Service Station. A tractor trailer caused 10850 damage and two occupants from Foster Ohio were treated at Somerset Community Hospital. Howard Baver of Hartford Connecticut collided with a tow truck causing 1000 damage. Virginia Harmison of Cumberland Maryland escaped injury after striking a median fence with 450 total damage.

Carl Matson 34 was the subject of a large search near Reels Corner after going hunting with his father Ernest. Firemen and volunteers from several towns joined the hunt, which resumed at 9:30 a.m. Thursday and found Matson around 11 a.m. in good condition about a mile and a half south of the Lincoln highway east of Reels Corner.
