Waynesburg December 2 A Greene County grand jury indicted Robert Headley a 49 year old gas field worker and two women acquaintances on charges of assault and battery with intent to kill and conspiracy to murder They plotted the death of Headleys wife who was shot five times last August 13 in the garage of the Headley home at Pine Bank Sheriff Henry Flowers said the women Mrs Otis Cumberledge and Mrs Elizabeth Pettit implicated Headley Pettit admitted she was the trigger woman Headley denied the charges and was released on 5000 bail while the sisters are jailed Mrs Headley recovered in a Waynesburg hospital No date for the trial was set.
