Car injures boy on way to school near New Lexington
A 6-year-old Rockwood boy was seriously hurt on Route 281 when he stepped into the path of a car driven by Jack R. Barker. He suffered hip and head injuries and was listed in serious condition at Somerset Community Hospital. Barker said he drove about 30 mph. The boy was taken to the hospital by New Centerville Ambulance Service.
