Mr and Mrs Owen Geisel of Pocahontas City were jailed on charges of concealing the death of an illegitimate child and being accessories. They were released on bail for a Saturday hearing at 10 a.m. in Somerset. Their 13 year old daughter Lorraine is alleged to have given birth to a baby in August. The newborn remains were found on the Geisel property on August 19.

Holliday Charged With Carrying Firearms
Scott Holliday of Addison township faced charges of carrying weapons without a permit and pointing deadly weapons. Pvt. Leon Gage filed the information after Randolph Wilburn, a Maryland resident, reported an incident near the Augustine beer parlor in Addison Saturday night.
