P D Collins Dies at Home in Berlin
P D Collins 44 prominent Meyersdale and Berlin pharmacist died at his Broadway home in Berlin Saturday afternoon after a long heart ailment. Born in Meyersdale February 5 1895 he served in World War I and rose to Pharmacist First Class. Survived by widow Margaret and two children Chilson and Emily he led Berlin and Meyersdale drug enterprises and held civic roles with the American Legion Rotary Club and Trinity Lutheran church. Funeral Tuesday at 2 p m at his home with burial in Berlin IOOF cemetery by Johnson and Son morticians.
