Mrs. Ethelyn Van Wagner Wagner wife of Trinity Lutheran pastor was laid to rest Tuesday in Memorial Cemetery beside her son Wadsworth. Dr Dwight Putman president of Central Penn Lutheran Synod led graveside prayers citing scripture and faith in the hereafter. Relatives and friends from Warren Cambridge Springs Rockwood and other areas attended along with church officials and former students.

Autos Collide at South Center and Sanner Streets
Two cars collided at the South Center Avenue and Sanner Street intersection in Somerset Borough about 5 10 p m Tuesday. One auto was demolished with no injuries reported. Milton A. Baker 68 of Somerset R D 2 and Charles Reedy 37 of Somerset R D 1 were involved. Baker said he turned left after letting a car pass, Reedy braked to avoid the turning auto. Reedy’s car valued at 500 and Baker’s at 600 were damaged.

Today at the Somerset County Fair in Meyersdale livestock judging begins at 9 a.m. with dairy judging, while the Hendricks Bros Movieland Animal Show performs at 2 and 8 p.m. Tuesday's events included 4-H dairy judging and FFA livestock judging with a tractor contest.
