An 11 year old Confluence Road 3 boy sold a grand champion baby beef for 1 045 pounds at 1.57 a pound totaling 1640 65 while Phillip Dupre bought both grand champion swine and market lamb. Top hog was a 190 pound red Duroc at 1 52 a pound totaling 286 90. A 95 pound lamb brought 175 75 and reserve champion beef went to Wade Armstrong for 1 per pound on a 980 pound Angus. The sheep and hogs contributed to a 5 720 pounds total 42 265 58 in baby beeves and 825 65 for lambs as fair crowds neared 25 000 over the run.
