Pony Pull Contest At Somerset County Fair Results
The Somer set County Fair hosted a pony pull with 15 entrants and a lightweight class won by Dewey Wilt Jr. of Meyersdale. In heavy weight Ralph Resh of Flintstone Md. took first and $30, Jim Sutter Somerset second $20, Ben Boots Miller Somerset third $10. Sutter also won lightweight with Resh second and Eddie Phillips third. Other payoffs ranged from $8 to $50 for first place in heavy and light divisions.
