Three Car Crash Near Gray Injures Five
Five people were injured in a three car crash on Route 219 at Gray Saturday night. Mrs. Dean Barclay 32 Gray was in Somerset Community hospital in serious condition from chest injuries. John Maruca 47 Gray had facial and arm lacerations and back injuries and was listed in fair condition. Alcide Benini 27 Gray driving south crashed into Earl Eiser 41 Gray who pulled into the highway from a roadhouse. Eiser and Benini cars then hit a third car driven by Ralph Geiger Jr. 22 Gray. Dispatched to the scene were Maruca and Charles Reposa Gray. Damages totaled 900 850 and 300 for the Benini Geiger and Eiser vehicles respectively. Pvt. Lee Cecchini Somerset barracks investigated.
