Three Hurt In Somerset County Weekend Auto Crashes
Over the weekend in Somerset county three people were injured with one in critical condition. Sam J. Farber 47 of Meyersdale was listed in critical condition after his 1956 Oldsmobile wrecked on Route 219 between Berlin and Beechdale. He suffered severe head laceration lung puncture fractures and internal injuries. The car valued about 3200 was demolished. A second crash near Meyersdale on Glade City road injured Karl E. Martz 18 of Glencoe and Kenneth Weiner 27 of Manassas Virginia. Martz drove a 1950 Oldsmobile into a concrete abutment then bank after being forced off the road by an oncoming car. Martz received minor injuries and Weiner was treated for facial cuts and arm abrasions. Damaged car set at 500.
