Bicycle rider injured in collision with auto
Kove Kaufman a 14 year old boy son of Mr and Mrs K W Kaufman of North Edgewood avenue was slightly injured when he collided with a car driven by Florence Breeton of Latrobe at the Rosina avenue and West Main street intersection about 6 pm. The car driver said the cyclist rode directly in front of her vehicle and she could not avoid the impact. Kaufman received minor brush burns and bruises at a physician’s office and went home.

Four Somerset men plead guilty to public aid misrepresentation
Arthur E. Umberger of Stoystown was bound over for the next criminal term after admitting relief funds amounting to 247.60 while employed elsewhere. The other three had charges continued to allow restitution, with Spangler to return 12.40, Griffith 49.10, and Will 19.40.
