The Pennsylvania National Guard completes its 14000 personnel contingent for the first army war games. Youth Dead Two Injured in Greensburg Collision
A night crash near Arena ten miles southwest of Greensburg left 18 year old Stephen Hudak of Homestead dead from skull, jaw and leg fractures. Two others, 18 year old Thomas Cuttler of Homestead and 56 year old Edward G Mueller of Pittsburgh, were in serious condition at Westmoreland Hospital with possible concussion.

Rock Fall Kills Miner In X On Friday Night
A rock fall at Mine 40 near Windber killed Paul Kebisik, 60, instantly and injured his son Stephen, 24, who was trapped for 25 minutes. Paul died from a crushed skull and extensive injuries. Tractor Driver Burned on Pennsylvania Turnpike Near Somerset
Clyde Miller a 37 year old tractor operator for Harrison Construction on the Pennsylvania turnpike near Somerset suffered severe burns to his right hand in an electrical accident Sunday morning. He was removed to Somerset Community Hospital in fair condition. Other local patients underwent surgical operations Saturday with mixed recovery reports.
