Auto hit by train driver walks from debris
Coal City, Ill. Aug. 6 William C. Wilson Jr. 18, seated in his car when a Santa Fe train demolished it, walked away from the wreck after leaving his home for work. His car was shattered but he rose from the debris and reached a fire department ambulance. In Morris he had a cut forehead and shock.

Tonawanda Couple Injured in Du Bois Crash
James Hepburn age 26 and his wife Theo 23 of Tonawanda N Y were injured when their car collided with a tractor trailer near Du Bois last night. Hepburn was trapped for nearly two hours and treated at Du Bois hospital. The truck driver Fred Phillips 23 of Franklin Pa escaped injury. Police said the big rig hit the auto as Hepburn turned onto a side road.
