Paper workers vote to approve new two year contract
Members of the United Paper Workers of America in three plants of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Co. voted to accept a new two year contract. Wilbur Johnson of Local 676 said approval was unanimous at two meetings and reports from the Williamsburg plant echoed the same. Local 675 members in Covington also approved after meetings last night and today. A union spokesman cited a fairly close tally but did not provide exact numbers. Negotiations occurred in Washington last week.

TB Society Reports 650 X Rays in July Survey

Plane crashes at Somerset airport halts traffic
