Corporal William P. Barnhart lightly wounded in action in the North African area June 18, per telegram from the War Department received by his mother Mrs Flora Barnhart of West Main Street. Barnhart serves in the army corps fround work unit as radio operator in a land control tower and has been moved several times within Tunisia. Miss Helen Rose of Holsopple to serve in the nine corps women’s reserves, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ship High, formerly lived in Johnstown and awaits active duty.
