Two Vehicle Crash Ends Rockwood Man Life in Lavansville
A 73 year old Ambrose Hinzy of Rockwood RD 3 Casselman dies in a two vehicle collision on Route 31 near Lavansville. Hinzy died from a fractured skull and internal injuries after his station wagon left the road and was struck by a 1955 truck driven by Harry Ankeny who was injured. A second crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike injured a passenger, Francecus Gillis, while a guard post and car suffered damage.
