Pilot error blamed for two December plane crashes
The FAA linked two December accidents to poor pilot judgement. James Paul Foy of Cleveland and Joyce Foy died Dec 4 near Windber Pennsylvania after a noninstrument flight into a snow storm. Charles R. Fireman of Emmaus died Dec 13 near Reading after a predawn takeoff in fog without instruments.
