A Baltimore physician Dr. Benjamin J. Sax 52 and his wife Miriam 44 were in a fatal turnpike collision near the Allegheny tunnel as they headed toward Cleveland. Sax, chief roentgenologist at two city hospitals, died from a broken neck. Mrs. Sax survived with serious injuries after the car left the road and vaulted over a six foot embankment and fence.
