Da Spring edged Bat Petter in a tight contest as the Comex division saw a lasting battle. The teams traded chances before Da Spring sealed a 3 to 4 victory in a tense finish.
Montpelier lost 3 to 4 to Soda Springs in a Sunday game. Both teams showed fine plays with improved umpiring noted by Montpelier fans, and Soda Springs gained a victory that pleased local supporters.
In Pocatello a four year old boy named Falafully Williams was accidentally shot in the ankle by a six year old playmate, Crimmina, with a revolver taken from a bureau. The weapon misfired during a game while parents were away. The wounded boy is recovering with Dr. Rooker attending. The incident followed by a Rebekah district meeting and banquet at the Williams Hotel.
