Lunar Rock Exhibit Highlights Apollo 12 Sample at WTC
NASA loaned lunar sample 12056.3 plus Space Shuttle and Skylab models to Western Texas College. The rock weighs 114 grams and dates to about 3.3 billion years, with pyroxene and plagioclase rich mineralogy. Display in Student Center 1–5 p.m. and film at 1:30 p.m. in the Science Lecture Hall.
