Thunderstorms southwest of Snyder dumped heavy rain Tuesday night totaling over three inches at Lake J. B. Thomas. The Colorado River and Bull Creek flowed strongly this morning as lake level rose to about 2242.20, roughly a foot above Tuesday. Most rain fell south of the watershed, but conditions suggest the best rise of the year.
