One Escapee Recaptured in Saint Jo Texas
Gerald Ray Johnson was arrested by Montague County deputies as he walked a road near Saint Jo. His companion Jerry Mark Dorrough remained at large after a Dallas jail breakout in which they hostage abducted a jailer. Police, dogs, helicopters and a wide search covered the town and surrounding area as both escapees fled in stolen vehicles and wrecked their car.
