The Snyder High School 1971 graduating class will hold commencement at 8 tonight in the Scurry County Coliseum. About 257 seniors will receive diplomas with Dan Cotton awarding, Bill Hood presenting. Valedictorian Bid Allen Cooper and salutatorian Nathaniel Conner Smith will speak. Roy Carter will honor top students. John Short handles scholarships. The class song will be sung by Sammy Baker and Dennis Williamson, with the Alma Mater directed by Charles Collins. The invocation is by Rev. Robert McArthur and benediction by Rev. Otis J. Archie. Wayla Walton will lead processional and recessional. Class officers are Bill Branson president, Vance Reneau vice president, Pam Hartsfield secretary. Faculty sponsors listed.
