Nine Bodies Recovered From Flaming B36 Crash
A B36 bomber crashed near San Angelo Texas during a severe storm last night killing nine crewmen and leaving six or seven others missing. The plane, possibly from Walker Air Force Base in Roswell, exploded twice after impact as witnesses described a large, blazing wreck in rugged ranch country. No survivors were found and next of kin notifications were pending.
