In San Bernardino California a Texas sheriff deputy, Dean Dribble 22, was wounded four times by a prisoner he was transporting from Redwood City to Abilene. Dribble was found in a ranch house after the suspect fled in the deputy’s car and later forced Fidel Rodriguez’s vehicle, firing at Rodriguez’s party as they escaped. Dribble remains hospitalized in fair condition.
