Four-Vehicle Pileup Near Avenue Thirty-Seventh Street
A four car crash west of Avenue Thirty-Seventh at 3:33 p.m. left two drivers with minor injuries. Vehicles included a 1956 Buick driven by Oleta R. O Neal a 1954 Ford driven by Carol Ann Kimzey damaged $100 a 1958 Plymouth total loss and a 1955 Chevrolet damaged about $350. The Buick and Chevrolet drivers were taken to Cogdell Hospital. Also injured was six year old Stevie Lynn Pruitt in a bicycle collision with a 1962 Cadillac. He was kept overnight for observation at Cogdell Hospital. A separate 5:16 p.m. incident on Twenty third Street involved a parked car owned by H W Marwardt struck by Sonya T Gogburn with minor damage to both cars.
