Two Die In Fiery Crash On U S 180 West Of Roby
Two women died in a head on collision on U S 180 about 10 miles west of Roby in Fisher County between 1 30 and 1 45 a m. Theresa Darlene Price 25 a former Snyder resident lived in Rotan and Opal Stephens 70 of Bangs died in the blaze. Both bodies were taken to Weathersbee Funeral Home Rotan and Stephens body was later moved to Brownwood. Price drove a 1972 Chevrolet while Stephens drove a 1967 GMC pickup. Investigating trooper Albert Hataway said both cars burned after the crash. Funeral arrangements for Price are pending at Rotan.
