Congressman Omar Burleson announced a final fiscal year grant under Part A Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act totaling $88 408.17 to Scurry County Schools. The program serves 632 children aged 5 to 17 in low income families in Scurry County, providing educational assistance to raise attainment to the level appropriate for their ages.
