Paducah Plane Crash Kills 4
A single engine Bonanza crashed four miles east of Paducah Texas on Woodrow Martin farm killing three women and a man. The craft left Carlsbad New Mexico about 6 30 a m en route to Enid Oklahoma. Names not yet released. A Carlsbad license and a Denton Texas license were found among the wreckage.

County Atty Wesson Bartlett said a crippled suspect is the man who raped and beat a Hughes Springs wife and briefly kidnapped her 6 year old daughter. The suspect, after a car crash, was to take a lie detector test in Dallas as investigators pursue both the Edwards and Walker cases. Geraldine Edwards identified the man in hospital.
