Snyder choirs win top honors at UIL contest
Snyder High School and junior high choral groups earned first division ratings at the Texas Interscholastic League contest in Abilene. The 64 voice high school girls choir and 44 voice high school a capella choir, directed by Robert Clinton, plus the 65 voice junior high choir, directed by Mrs. Lands Lee, all received Division I praise with sweepstakes for the girls choir and first division in concert for the a capella group. The junior high choir earned a Division 1 rating in its first entry. Abilene, Colorado City, Brownwood, and Throckmorton also earned sweepstakes honors.
