W. H. Calkins president of the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Houston will speak at the 38th annual Sweetwater Production Credit Association stockholders meeting. The event in Scurry County Coliseum includes a 9:30 registration, 10:30 business session, two board seats, a noon barbecue lunch, and over 750 attendees. Calkins began in farm credit 1933 and has risen to president since 1971. The association serves 760 stockholder borrowers across several counties with offices in Sweetwater Snyder Lamesa Colorado City Roby.
