Planning Of Show Barn At Scurry County Coliseum OKd
County Commissioners approved preliminary show barn plans by Don Hampton of Sweetwater at no cost. Rex Robinson and Bob Watlington spoke for a committee backing the Coliseum project. They also granted Midwest Electric an easement for underground lines north of the airport and earmarked $1,000 for a summer recreation program for the mentally retarded. An open house at the remodeled courthouse is set for Sunday April 8 from 1 to 4 PM.
