Wreckage Found Of 1945 Dakota Transport Crash
The probable American Dakota transport plane wreckage was located 14 000 feet up the central New Guinea mountains by Robert Temple and the Hein rich Harrer expedition. The north slope of Nga Pulu yielded part of the wreckage and two bodies. Papers suggest the crash occurred in 1945 and aid identification.
