They advanced after a three hour college board exam and review of leadership and extracurricular records. Blakey Named Jaycee President By Acclamation
Charlie Blakey an accountant with Deffebach Yorgesen Agency was elected president of the Snyder Junior Chamber of Commerce by acclamation at the Friday lunch. He succeeds Mel Zane Gilbert, who led the Jaycees for the past year. Installation will be at the annual banquet at West Elementary Cafeteria next Friday night.
