Odessa man loses custody battle of his three children
In Detroit Circuit Judge Carl M. Weidman denied custody to Arthur LaClair of Odessa. He ruled the children Dale and Gale eight year old twins and Shirley eleven remain with two aunts in Detroit. Their mother Edna LaClair died six weeks earlier and had asked the aunts to care for them. The LaClairs were divorced in 1946. He has since remarried.
